In 2007 I was the recipeint of the first ever Music Award for Ventura Roots and Independant
Creations (M.A.V.R.I.C. Awards) for my song "Daddy". I was nominated again this year for Male Vocal of the Year, which is a miracle in itself because the night I recorded that song I was hittin' the helium tank pretty hard...and Folk Song of the Year, which is understandable because even though I'm primarily a blooze singer the night I wrote that song I was pretty folked up. As a matter of fact I was outta my folkin' mind. I put a couple of tunes up here. I hope you like them....PEACE!...Barry
